As we wrap up April and the Month of the Military As we wrap up April and the Month of the Military Child, we want to end on the highest of notes by pausing our constant worry. Pausing the anxiety wondering if we've done enough to soften the hard edges of military life. Instead, let's watch and learn from them. In the middle of the PCS's and "see ya laters", new schools and long deployments, inconsistency and constant change, these kids often show us something sacred: joy without conditions, courage without complaint and love that isn't limited by time zones. So, let's end the month by not just honoring military kids, but by learning from them. Let them teach us how to be brave, that vulnerability is a strength, and how to carry on with the kind of hope that doesn't flinch. What has the military kid in your life taught you? 🥹

Ok, but in all seriousness, this is such a perfect Ok, but in all seriousness, this is such a perfect representation of life as a milso. Just when you think you have it all figured out, this life has a unique way of humbling you. You can either fight against the constant change, or learn to embrace it and make unforgettable memories despite it. What a wild ride the 3.5 years have been at this assignment, cannot believe this chapter is closing but boy are we excited for what's next 🤗
